Thank you @Al Dente for your precise identification, especially as this is the only notothyrium iIve seen on any of the brachiopods I’ve been researching so far. Perhaps it’s quite prominent in this particular species.

I'll have to have a look through mine again,I think I have one with a white triangular mark in the same place on a different brachipod
