Do you have a pic showing the labial side of the tooth? I also think it's a hastalis tooth, but...

...I'm looking at that shoulder, could be retroflexus maybe?

its not a retroflexus there is no ridge on the tooth

Like I said, you're probably correct about the ID. I always thought that the distinction was more conclusive when viewing the labial side of the tooth, or even a side view of the tooth. Do all retroflexus teeth have a ridge on the lingual side? Other than elasmo.com and Kent's book, are there any good publications describing I. retroflexus?

Maybe this would be a cool is a discussion for a different thread, i.e. comparison of mako teeth. If anything maybe we'd get some cool pics of more teeth posted!

yes a look at the other side is a better way to tell but this isnt one why you have one you can just look at the tooth and know that its a retro. here are a few from my last trip down there
