Weird fossil found at Saltwick Bay

Can someone help me identify this fossil, it looks like a plate or some sort of tooth

First, welcome to the Forum.

 

It's not a tooth, ... as there is no enamel present, and no real tooth morphology - blade, root, etc. 

This looks like a Concretion, to me. 

The concentric formation of the piece, and the cracked piece of "rind" , are both classic indications of a concretion. 

Neat stone, though - Keep looking.

I agree with Tim. It has a hard, pyritic outer layer which you see in many concretions from the Upper Lias around there.
