Muddy and cold 5 mile hike. I was doing good until my boots went underwater miles from my vehicle and the temp started dropping. The Mosasaur tooth and Gary Point made my day.

Cold soggy boots but worth it for the point and tooth.

Seems indeed worth the cold and wet boots! That tooth is really great!

Nice finds.  Still searching for my first point and Mos tooth.  Thinking about heading out there on Friday.  Did the gravel get a pretty good wash from the storm on Sunday?

Nice tooth and point Jarrod.  I really wish it would rain over there!!!  In fact, if it we were so fortunate to get rain tonight and tomorrow, I'd be there Friday morning in my waders even if its the predicted freezing weather were supposed to get.

Gravel is all still covered with mud. I actually thought my trip would be a bust. Friday will be a cold day so be careful.

I probably will not go back until it rises and drops. The mud was crazy.

By the way, I have some modern material I would like to get IDd, could I do it on this forum in the Fossil ID section?

This is more of a question for the staff, but maybe you know.

Best regards,

Max

There is not a specific forum for that, but I see no reason not to post. The worst that will happen is the admin. will hide it. More likely they would just move it to where they think it should be.
