Found off Sandy Plains road.

Well I wonder how this road got its name originally? I see a few small creeks on the maps but perhaps the sand is from long ago?post-218-1201290985_thumb.jpg

The gentleman who repairs Rolexs for me found this while helping a buddy work on a truck- last week! I am so jealous. And he is a rock hound too so no chance of talking him out of it! Even if it is not a fossil it would be cool just as a mineral speciman.

This is a fossil coral of some type and it is really a nice find. Beautiful color. I wish i could find some of that here in Bama.
