Jeffrey P
Hi Gordon, I have information about a couple of sites. One which turned out to be bust and one I haven't visited yet. I was specifically asked to not share this information. I would suggest contacting the Lancaster Gem and Mineral Society. They do outings in the Kinzer and they might be willing to share info. about sites. I'd be curious about anything you do find out.

FossilDAWG
He is easier to reach by facebook or email. Google the Lancaster club or "silverford". I don't think he checks in to this forum very much these days. Don

Oxytropidoceras
It has been some 48 years ago that I tried hunting fossils in the Kinzers Formation in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on a family vacation. I did find an outcrop and after some effort found one nice Olenellus cephalon. However, there are a couple of online PDF files that provide overviews of the regional geology of the Lancaster area. GordonC
Paul, Thank you for the tectonics study. PA Atlas A-168 of the Lancaster quadrangle shows the Kinzer Formation, see plate 2. From East Mountville - Donnerville - Fruitville have potential. Perhaps there are RR cuts to explore. Gordon Here is the link for the series. http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/topogeo/publications/pgspub/atlas/index.htm Atlases including plates are downloadable in zip files. EMP
It may be too late to tell you, but I tried to go out to Locust Lane to try and find some trilobites (all I had found until then were a couple of fragments) and was not so pleasantly disappointed to find the site overgrown, and devoid of anything. Granted I went back in July, but even in the two and a half hours I spent there scouring the exposure I found no fossils. Most of the area is built up, so whatever exposures there are usually get picked over fairly well.
