Beef1222 Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Hi i recently found this rock out n the country by an old timers porch whom gave this fossil to me it has rough putting pours surface parts, its a hatched uncollapsed egg. fossiling Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Welcome to the forum! I agree that it is not an egg. First, it has no egg texture whatsoever. Secondly, eggs never hatch in such a straight and clean line. Lastly, eggs are never uncrushed. I can't even make out a small crack there. but don't give up though, with some expertise learnt from the forum and a lot of patience you will be able to find a real egg. Good luck! Keep looking!
