I live in Rhode Island where there aren't that many fossil sites. does anyone know of any fossil beds in or close to Rhode Island?

There is a site in Portsmouth,  at the end of Cory's Lane.

The site produces Carboniferous era, Rhode Island Formation plant fossils.

I also heard a rumor of the same formation being accessible under the Newport Bridge, in Newport?

I know that Martha's Vineyard has sharks teeth found at Gay's Head, but I think that it is closed to collecting.

The next closest area to check would be North Attleborough, Massachusetts.
