New Bench

Recommended Posts

I got a low mileage, heavy duty, 6 foot long prep/work bench and a stool along with a ceiling hung cord reel from a guy emptying a warehouse!

Merry Christmas to me. I need to do some serious reorganization of the garage/prep lab/smithy but for now, it's in a useable place... kind of! I need a garage that is like Hermione Granger's bag.

Nice. A good table is worth its weight in fossils!!!!!

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert
Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

Yee haaaa.  Any plans to put that table on wheels.  I a m a big fan of lab tables on wheels.

Hey, now that's a thought.

@Ludwigiayes, it's quite a mess. I had to get it into a space and get the garage to a point where my wife can park in 2 hours. I'll get it set and organized this weekend... I hope.

Wait....? You do fossils, AND the wife parks in the same garage??!!

Unfortunately. It does tend to hamper my purposes. Unfortunately, the other day I was working on a fossil and forgot to back the wife's car out. She wasn't too pleased with the layer of gritty dust all over it!

  • 2 months later...

Time finally found its way to my garage and a reworking of the paleo and blacksmithing area went down this weekend! Now the new bench is in its permanent home with all its accoutrements in place. There's already a backlog of prep jobs!

This is also a kind of picture search like we did as kids... What's here that doesn't belong?:P

Is the rifle cartridge for the fossils that do not behave?

Well yeah, that makes perfect sense....What do you do if they come back to life and try to escape...I always keep a cartridge handy for that scenario!

That fish!

It belongs to Snolly :P

Didn't think about that one. Although, technically it belongs there because Snolly sent it to me. :D

That's one. Some of these fossils tend to get out of control so it takes a .50 BMG to keep them in line.
