Shark Tooth?

Hello, I found this item at Shark tooth beach on Jekyll Island, GA.  I am not sure if this is a tooth or not. I would appreciate any input from the members of this forum. Thank you.

I agree with Tony, shell fragment probably Oyster. ;)

After blowing up the photos a bit, I agree - it looks more like shell material than enamel.

Well if you are hunting a place called Shark Tooth Beach, there must be some to be found. Keep your eyes to the ground and once you find one they'll keep coming.
