Haven't seen this type of antler before

Haven't seen antler like this and was hoping someone knows what animal it might be from? Unlike typical antler I find with convex or flat base, its base is slightly concave. Also at its base are what look like 3 additional points that are likely broken and incomplete. I looked through some books but I couldn't identify it. Any ideas?

I'm thinking it's a pathology of an Odocoileus antler. I have never seen one as a fossil before though.

Take a look at the nearest Cabela's or Scheels (or LL Bean) and look around at the various deer mounts. Those little knobs are actually quite common.
