First Devonian hunt in NY

Nice finds! I'd be happy with any of those Dipleura pieces, and the gastropods look great. I passed through Sangerfield in a snow squall a couple of years ago but kept going. I want to get there but I don't think my wrist would take six hours of pounding anymore. You did good.

Naticonema is definitely a possibility - I think it would have to be prepped out some, to see if the spire is as high as it looks on that one. 

I could be totally wrong, and it could be little to no spire on that.

Actually mike you can find quite a lot in the debris pile. The pile is so high the last time I went you can walk right up it to the ledge. Maybe 25 feet high. You wouldn't believe all the fossil that get tossed off the ledge by those focused on a whole, large Dipleura. ( Myself included) You could find much and never swing a hammer.
