Tooth?

Recommended Posts

Sadly, no context/location to provide.  Was found in a loose bag of river stones.  Appears lower portion was longer but fractured/flaked off.  My son hopes it's a dinosaur's tooth.

Thank you,

Cybirr

Welcome to the Forum. :)

Unfortunately, it is merely a suggetively shaped rock, as the others have noted.

There is no enamel present on the "blade", and the "root" area doesn't look like bone at all.

Keep looking, though.

Regards,

Tim
