The weather was too bad to collect myself and as you may know the quarry Kromer is closed during winter So i will show you some pictures of the fossils in the Museum of natural history in Basel (Switzerland) ... There you are also other nice exhibits besides of the fossils ! Its a great and detailed museum ! Doesnt look bad or ? When i saw this i got homesickness A great fish (Dapedium) from Holzmaden: Huge Invertebrates collection: Many greetings from Germany ! In the early 1970s I lived 3 years along the Rhine on the French/German border just north of Basel. Most of my collecting was for invertebrates...especially ammonites.
