2. Fossil ID please

Hi Crann,

would be nice to get some more infos: where did you find the piece, which strata, geologic age,....

Otherwise difficult to tell more..could be a lot of things...

It's a piece of bone (with something shelly - ammonite? - next to it), not sure what from though. Ichthyosaur is most likely.

I was thinking looked like bone but wasn't going to get excited just in case, probably too brittle to do anything with.

Finds from the last few months, same stretch of coast, posted on nhm forum but everything apparently crushed bivalve which I thought didn't seem right, this forum you get a lot of input, really good site :dinothumb: thanks.
