The SG Fossil Cache - Crustaceans

-Andy-

Recommended Posts

Crustaceans are a large, diverse group of anthropods which includes the crabs, prawns, lobsters, barnacles and other shelled animals. Perhaps owing to their hard shells and marine lifestyles, crustaceans have a rich and extensive fossil record, extending up to the Cambrian, though they do not appear in abundance until the Carboniferous. They make for attractive and familiar fossils, and are one of my favorite groups to collect. Allow me to present my humble collection.

Thanks man. It's not that good imo, it's just the lighting and camera angle of my pictures.

You must own a warehouse to keep all your fossils!

Oh man I wish! Space in Singapore is scarce(akin to Hong Kong). I live in a flat apartment and my fossils are taking up what little space I have left.

Nice barnacle fossil, you don't see those every day! I'm surprised how old it is.
