fossil ammonite I got as a gift

Hi everyone this is Matt again 

 

today I have a white ammonite I got from a friend a few years ago

I am not sure ...

But my guess is that its a Perisphinctes sp. from Madagascar.

Lets see what others say :)

Nice one.. aperture is squared off but the ribs don't look like they were ground off with a wheel, so, not so bad.

I concur with belemniten. The info I see for these says they are from Tulear, Madagascar, for what that's worth after the fact. (Upper Jurassic)
