sixgill pete
I will start this out with three really cool patho teeth from the Lee Creek Mine in Aurora, North Carolina. These are all from the Miocene Pungo River Formation. First a small tooth, about 5mm wide 4mm long. I believe possibly Odontaspis Next a tiger shark, Galeocerdo sp., but I am leaning towards aduncus. and last an extremely pathological tooth that I believe is Carcharocles chubutensis, but I label it as carcharocles sp. Lets see what you have. 5 Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt behind the trailer, my desert Them red clay piles are heaven on earth I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt Patterson Hood; Drive-By Truckers May 2016 May 2012 Aug 2013, May 2016, Apr 2020 Oct 2022

Max-fossils
It's a shame I can't add anything to this topic, because it's original and seeing those teeth is really great! I really think I should start getting more into sharkteeth, they're so fascinating. Best regards, Max Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil. It looks compressed as well as bent, very nice tooth. Tony Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." The root lobes are too rounded and the crown is too narrow (and the tooth overall) to be C. hastalis. It's straighter than you usually see for the species.
