More bones from river

Some more bones from the Arkansas river near Arkansas city kansas. Right one is an ankle bone to a bison if I'm right. The other three no idea

Hi, could you please give us another scale, like in your other post for exemple ? This one is difficult to appreciate for those who don't know the size of american's changes.

I also think it would be better if you took pics of them in the daylight.:)

The large one I made its own post for and great idea on taking the pictures in daylight. The right one is an ankle bone from a bison I'm pretty sure on since it matches a past picture from thefossilforums.

Bottom bone in Fossildude's edited picture, left in your picture is a Bison/Bos calcaneum. The phalanx is Bison/Bos as well, a medial phalanx. The dark limb bone, I can't ID from that picture. The remaining bone looks like cranial bone, possibly Bison/Bos.

I will take a better pic of the triangular one....its obviously been broken so let me see if I can get a better pic of that

And thanx I figured they would have to be something like that since alit of mammoth/bison fossils are found on the river

To me that flat bone has a scapula shape, but i don't know if this is really one.
