Hello, I came across this rock protruding from the bank along a spring in SE Austin. There was plenty of Flint around and a few mollusks. Thanks

The first item looks like a cross section through a gastropod.  

Not sure about the second item. :unsure: 

Some other angles on the second item may be helpful - sides, directly above. 

Photos taken at oblique angles are hard to judge sometimes. ;)

The pattern of the first picture reminds me of Turritella/Cerithium gastropods in longitudinal mid section.
