fifbrindacier
Hi, i come back to you again because i tried to figure out what might be items i found in the Senonian of Touraine in France without success. Most of them, i believe are sponges. 1) about 3,5 cm round "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) "We only well see with the heart, the essential is invisible for the eyes." In memory of Doren
fifbrindacier
2) this one is about 6 cm of length, i don't know if this is a sponge, a coral, a bryozoan,... fifbrindacier
3) a little less than 4 cm of length and about 1,5 cm at the widest : "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
4) This last one might just be a funny nodule. It is about 6 cm of length and almost 3 of width : "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." abyssunder
It could be. All of the presented specimens could be sponges. fifbrindacier
Thanks Abyssunder. I had doubts on some, but not on the first one, although a precise identification is not possible because it is too worn. I had doubts on number 2) and 3), but mostly on 4) which seem to be parts of sponges (if they are sponges). "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
