This find was well deserving of top accolades.  But win, lose, or draw, we each went home with our own "participation trophy", each borne of sweat equity, serendipity, and dogged determination.  Happy hunting, y'all.

Thank youall for all your kind remarks, congratulations, and appreciation. Much thanks to all who participated and members who shared their gorgeous finds. I feel privileged to have won the Fossil Forum Invertebrate Fossil of the Month twice with all the beautiful fossils the member find and share. Maybe, I will have to find something nice to win the Vertebrate fossil of the Month.

How did I find this nice specimen to add to my collection…. My wife called me to wish me a great day and to find something really nice to show her , I slowed my walk then stood there talking to her for a while. Looking at the road bank I noticed the edge of this rock with a flash of a crinoid, I thanked her and hung up. I loosened the rock then removed it to all smiles and joy :D. When I got home I told my wife how nice her call was, showed her the find of the day and told her how she helped. After I trimmed it and set it on my desk wellll it is now in her room, however I did get a nice specimen back. I guess when I find something my wife likes better I will get it back…..She say don't count on it.....
