Darktooth
Hi everyone! I don't know why I have not posted these sooner as I have had doubts as to their true identity for some time. The first two teeth were found at Big Brook. After researching I felt that they closest resembled #1 bear and #2 beaver. The third tooth I found at Brownies Beach. This I felt was peccary.I am hoping those of you with more knowledge than I have could help me out here. Thank-you in advance. Dave I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie. Shellseeker
Beaver is correct for 2nd tooth. Size means a lot on the 1st. In shape this is similar to gator. I would like a higher resolution on the 3rd photo down. Tooth # 3 might be a carnassial. The first and second tooth are both approximately 3/4 inch, while the 3rd tooth is 1/4 wide by 3/16 high. Thanks! I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
