Papawaron
I found this in a pebble conglomerate layer of the late Cretaceous near Hovenweep National Monument in Utah. It is protruding from one of the layer's constituent pebbles. I assume the actual age is earlier than Late Cretaceous since the pebbles are seemingly a part of the proto ROCKY mountain progeny. Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Looks like an internal mold of a brachiopod, to me. Not sure if you can get any further than that - internal molds often lack detail to be able to identify further. Rockwood
You might want to go back and see if you can find the counterpart for the external. Shouldn't be too hard to find
fifbrindacier
A kind of brachiopod, maybe, but the photos are blurry.
