I find lots of verts. Most are horse, cow, deer. Some more mineralized than others. I don't bother posting most of them. This one seems different, but I can't describe why I think it's different. Just a gut feeling. Any thoughts? Found on the Brazos River, Texas, pleistocene.

It was suggested on TFF  Facebook that this is a Glyptodon caudal vert . I can't find any thing online to compare it to. Not even in Harry's gallery

Just got confirmation from David Gillette at the Museum of Northern Arizona that this is a caudal from the glyptodont Glyptotherium!

That's awesome!  Was looking for comparisons to my new suspected glyptodont caudal vert and your post is helpful.
