Display Stands for Larger Teeth

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I'm in search of fossil display stands similar to the one shown below. These stands will be used to display a couple of my larger teeth (One of them being a large Spino tooth similar to the one below). Currently I keep my smaller teeth in Riker mounts, but I want to do something a little different for the larger ones. Does anyone know where I can find similar stands? If these stands are only custom made does anyone have any other suggestions for ways to display large theropod teeth?

Thanks as always!

If you have lots of money to spend you might want to get one of these:

They have large and small ones.

If you want brass and white marble, this guy on etsy has a variety of ones that are quite cheap:

I know these stands well.  These were custom and took me a bit of time to build, but I have since found this source.

They are a bit more pricey than making my own but I don't have to do the work.

Hi Seth,

Thanks for the link! Yes, I thought you might recognize the photo :P

If these kinda metal stand are too costly, you can consider snap on acrylic stands. They come in different sizes, and cost around $1 each.

I use them for some of my large teeth. You can get them online or on eBay. Search terms would be 'fossil display stand' or 'mineral display stand'

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
