Bone?

Hey guys, I was looking for fossils in a local creek here in central Texas and I found what appears to be a well worn piece of bone.

Any ideas?

Yep. Knowing more info on where it was found could help tell which animal it's from or at least the age.

It was found just sitting in the middle of a creek bed. The fossils here are Cretaceous as far as I know. The piece of bone sounds different when I tap on it....like not new sounding. I'm not sure if that makes sense at all. The name of the creek is brushy creek.
