Found a tooth on the beach In California

Can you please take more pics of all the sides? Even if you have to hold it in your hands, we really need to see the sides straight on. It makes trying to id an object easier than seeing something from an angle.:)

I agree with abyssunder . . . it does look like an equus lower tooth.  But, I don't think it is a normal tooth.  it certainly is not worn normally, and the contours are not typical of equus from Florida.

It is most likely recent (ie 1600 to present), but it is possible that it is an older one. Hard to tell from a picture.

Horses died out in north america around 10,000 years age and were reintroduced by the Europeans in the early days of Their exploration of this continent.
