Oooh, I wonder who sent you trilos ;)

Oddly enough, the package came from Spain, although there is no doubt as to the trilobite's original provenance. :D

I don't buy too many fossils but when this one came along I wanted to add to the collection.  Shark material from Illinois is really cool!  Haven't found any myself yet so this piece inspires me!

Edestus jaw piece with tooth, Coulterville, Illinois, Late Pennsylvanian

Although I would prefer to keep my collection restricted to fossils which I have found myself, I have taken more and more over the last years to trading and purchasing for things which are pretty well out of reach for me here in southern Germany. Lately I've decided to keep on expanding my fish and shark tooth collection and since I can't travel several thousand miles every week to get at the ones that interest me, I broke down and purchased this Moroccan saw fish tooth (Onchopristis), a Squalicorax and an Otodus for a reasonable price the other day from our favorite auction site.

I know they're a dime a dozen where you come from, but they're practically nonexistent in my parts ;)

Yeah, but most of them are pretty poor quality.

Those you've got there are pretty good in anyone's collection! :)

Good to hear. I value your opinion. I was waiting and watching a while before I saw them.

Eleganticeras elegantulum and a baby one if you look close!

This is from the Yorkshire Coast, probably Port Mulgrave or Sandsend near whitby.

A bit of the bottom is broken off, but it still looks great in my opinion. I got this for a very good price, £10 with shipping :ighappy:
