What is the "anceps" in Prognathodon anceps? Is that the species name?  I'm having a hard time finding anything online to explain other than some dealers selling some teeth on various sites.  Sorry for my ignorance and thanks!

When correctly writing scientific 'binomials', the first word (always capitalized) is the genus name and the seconds word (never capitalized) is the species name.  Hence, in Prognathodon ancepsPrognathodon is the genus and anceps is the species.  It is generally accepted that scientific binomials should either be italicized or underlined.
