Gorgeous specimen, Mike. A well deserved win. Congratulations. Nobody is finding and publicizing the importance and beauty of New Mexico's cretaceous ammonites like you. Keep up the good work.

WooHoo!:raindance:...nineteenth times the charm!!!  :D

 

Looking back at my previous entries got me thinking about my evolution as a fossicker...pretty cool to see it all come back around to a small, simple cephalopod. This specimen is easily the most spectacular representative of the species in my collection. Thank you for your votes and kind words...

I don't believe I voted this last month?  My bad.   But I love everything about this ammo.  The rock is gorgeous.  No tool marks.  Just an awesome specimen.  Congrats man.
