Bivalve inner cast?

Near Crosbyton, TX found what looks like a piece of chewed gum. I'm thinking the inner mold of a bivalve or maybe just an very interesting rock. Thought?

Wow! That thing is  mess! I'm going to guess geologic based on lack of enough symmetry, but if it was ever alive you may be right with bivalve, like maybe a rudist.

 

edit: it looks like the material around Crosbyton is too early for Rudists so strike that idea lets go with very interesting rock.
