JarrodB
NSR is dry and footprints everywhere but I still had a great day. The Mosasaur Angular with shark feeding marks & possible shark tooth embedded is my favorite.

flyg
Incredible. I really like the mix of lithics and fossils you consistently find. On the piece with the possible shark tooth, does it look like the bone had some growth around the tooth/object, as if it was something that happened when the reptile was living? I really like thinking about the various scenarios where a huge marine predator gets bitten in the face by another, probably smaller, marine predator (competitive feeding frenzy with multiple species on a big carcass, last desperate defense by the shark after being gripped in the jaws of the reptile, lucky escape from a shark by juvenile mosasaur with the embedded tooth remaining into adulthood...). Cool finds. G

Jakuzi
Once again killing it. It's amazing how much you've been finding. You gave me the bug and I went out yesterday after work. I plan on a full day hunt tomorrow. If we get as much rain as predicted there should be lots of new fossils to be found soon. I may take a day off work. putt510
Again nice finds Jarrod. There is some really good stuff you are finding down there. I'm going to have to save up to come down there and hopefully go fossil collecting with you sometime. Nice verts, would be nice if they werent so worn, but still nice. I've heard the bbq is good in texas overall, but how is it in north texas? For example, in PA, I would say be careful with the bbq because it is not like how they do it down south. Nice shark bite marks, you dont always find them on bones.
