Kem Kem phosphate vertebrae

Nearly finished this item, it did not survive the journey well (not packed by me) and was in numerous pieces.

Turned out ok though IMO once stabilised and re-joined.

Can you see the gastrolith?

Hi,

A gastrolithe stuck between two vertebras ? What reminds you that it is a gastrolithe ?

Very nice set of vertebrae.  Good job repairing them.  Preservation does look like they are from the Kem Kem beds more like the Ouled Abdoun Basin phosphate beds which are younger in age.

Hi it's highly polished and worn, its possible that it does not come from the dinosaur concerned, just a fluke of nature that it ended up there.

Vertebrae don't look dinosaurian and if they are from the phosphate beds of Ouled Abdoun Basin good chance they are some other vertebrate maybe Croc.
