Plesiosaur Femur ?

Found this today, think it's possibly a plesiosaur femur but not 100%, what you guys/gals think ? Cheers, Alan.

It does look akin to those I've seen but I'm no expert, so if someone more knowledgeable states otherwise, I would defer to their opinion :)

This has me stumped as I am not convinced it is bone to start with.

The ends look wrong for a marine reptile as the growth lines looks to radiate from the centre and appears to be hollow in the centre with an infill material.

The other end should also be solid but all I can see is the outline.

I am not sure what the specimen is but would lean towards some type of sponge.

I am willing to be completely wrong on my observation so let a local chime in.

Any ideas what this is on the side ? Another bone running through ? Don't think it's a belemnite. Cheers.
