Took the grandson to NSR and here is what he found .

Was a short walk from 34 toward 904 , far left Fish Jaw , Mosasuar vert , shark's tooth , worm tube .

I have to keep him away from my Trilobites , they are his favorite .

Hunting fossils is fun , but discovering is better !

Give your Grandson a high five for me....nice finds.

Is there much water up at the Sulphur with all this heat?

Wasn't a whole lot , man has the gravel bars changed , some are just gone .

Thanks , will tell him , I explained how there are very few people that have such items .

I'm sure with a smaller rain event the Sulphur will be prime.

That last frog choker really shook things up out there.

There were huge gravel bars that were blown out completely.

I hope we get some more rain and a cold front :D

When I say cold front I mean a drop from the 100's to highs of 95 or less :P

Boy, wouldn't that be nice. As it is I'm reluctant to drive the distance out to the Sulphur because after 11:00 or so it's just too hot to move. If it rains heavy up there I might change my mind though :D

I hear you, down in the river bed, it is so hot, I can't stand it any more. I have been thinking of getting a flood light and hunting at night for fossils up this way. I am done ready for fall to come.
