Maastrichtian Mosasaurus

Hello everyone, I mounted this skull, but I'm not sure you have identified the species. I think it's Mosasaurus prognathodon, but I see a strong resemblance Eremiasaurus Heterodontus. What do you think? thank you

Where is it from?

Nice job, by the way. ;)

Might be worth investing in a stand for it. :)

The most unique bone on mosasaur skulls are the quadrates. Luckily you have it on your skull. Except it's mounted backwards. I'm thinking you might have swapped the left and right quadrates and mounted them backwards. The little hook should be pointing backwards.

The quadrate looks more like Eremiasaurus than Prognathodon. but I don't have enough experience to say that conclusively.

Otherwise great mount and specimen!

The teeth do not look Prognathodon to me.  Prognathodon teeth are typically a bit more flattened.  These appear more cone-like.  I would lean toward Eremiasaurus than Prognathodon, although I have not had as much experience with them as I have Prognathodon.
