Limestone from Hunt, TX

Picked up a piece of limestone in a creek bed Between Hunt and Ingram TX. What Is this? More importantly, how would be the best way to get it out of the matrix? I believe the area is Cretaceous.

Looks like a quartz pebble with some shell fragments around it.

possibly an anomiid (jingle shell)? I'd give that rock a light tap and hope for the best. It also looks a tad like a terebratulid brachiopod.
