Deryavar
Chould this stone be a fossilized toe bone of a big animal? The first photograph is top view, the second is flashless angled top view. We have a lot of Agatized and Partially Agatized Bones. They are translucent chalcedony. But this part is not chalcedony. It may be at the first stages of the fossilization. Kane
I'm not seeing the usual bone texture here, but instead just a concretion/nodule. Wait for the others to chime in. Perhaps you could say a bit more about the location it was found to better pinpoint an ID. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
Fruitbat
I agree with Kane. I'm not seeing any evidence of bone structure on your specimen. -Joe Illigitimati non carborundum Fruitbat's PDF Library

Spinosaurus
if the bone have been broken you see something like a sponge texture. the shape is irregular and i don't see bone structre, so i agree with the others.
Deryavar
Thanks for comments and the welcome This short article may be helpful for pre-knowledge about agatized bones that ı found. https://www.academia.edu/31828760/PARTIALLY_AGATIZED_CHALCEDONIZED_BONES_AND_AN_APPROACH_FOR_ESTIMATING_THE_DATES_OF_ISTANBUL_PALEOLITHIC_CULTURE
Deryavar
There is an archaeological discovery of a paleolithic culture in İstanbul. I am adding some agatized bone(chalcedony) artifacts. These were processed. So They are artifacts. Most of these translucent chalcedony artifacts have some small bone sections which were not agatized, slificated. I coded 66 chalcedony sculpture artifacts in “The Archaeological Discovery of Istanbul Paleolithic Culture I – Arrowheads, Spearheads,Lithic tools and Sculptures” " the first cover of this discovery and research. I passed the artifact subject. Besides, There are some unclear findings which were not agatized or at the starting stages of the agatization like big white stone part. Because you can see different agatization stages on one part such as white bone - started agatization creamy bone - completed agatization translucent chalcedony. These may be helpful for your comments.
Fossildude19
Has any of your work been peer reviewed? Honestly, any agatized bone I've ever seen has been dinosaur bone,... and you can see the bone structure in them. Your photographs are of such poor quality, I cannot make out any bone structure. I don't see any resemblance to bone in any of your pictures, including the original item posted. Deryavar
Did you read the article in my second post? Agatized bone subject is so clear in this article. And when you look at the first part in my third post carefully , you could see white bone sections on the surface. These sections are same with a bone surface. There are a lot of "partially agatized bones" amongst the findings. One part have different agatization sections.
Deryavar
Another interesting thing... These are all chalcedony. And Chalcedony name comes from the Chalcedon which is the ancient name of Kadıköy. I found all these chalcedony artifacts in Kadıköy (Chalcedon). Fossildude19
I am not seeing anything as so clear. As this is a science based forum, we look for science based theories and facts. I did read your paper, and am far from convinced. Again, I ask, has any of your work been peer reviewed? This is part of the scientific process. Without peer review, anyone could write anything they wanted. Science is confirmation and consensus of findings - I do not see that here. Deryavar
Saying "2 plus to 2 is equal 4" does not need any approval. I wrote these 5 short article after my two books and two conferences (Istanbul Technical University Conference and Bilkent University Conference) to inform academicians in the archaeology field about the discovery of The Istanbul Paleolithic Culture. An American documentary program "Nova Science" wanted the copyrights of the first cover of this discovery and research, after they read the my first article. But I don't care about this. Knowledge does not need approval.
Fossildude19
Your assertions are not scientifically based. Knowledge does not need approval. But science, ... actual science, does. I'm afraid we will have to agree to disagree here. As a science based forum, we do not publish pseudoscience. As this is bound to go nowhere good, I am locking this thread. I wish you the best of luck with your studies.
