Some ammonites from Buttenheim

 I just find some time to post some other finds from my last tour ...

Besides this:

I was also in a quarry near Buttenheim (at the same day).

As many of you know its a very famous quarry where you can find nice white ammonites (mostly Pleuroceras) from the lower Jurassic.

I didnt spend much time there so my finds arent spectacular ... :)

Here are some of them:

I think nearly all of them are Pleuroceras sp. ...

A nice 5 cm big one:

Thanks ! No i never tried to search there .... I often dont have the tools and no time :(

I don't know, Sebastian - those finds look pretty spectacular to me! :wub: 

I am jealous of anyone who can hunt for ammonites. :)
