Two unknowns from the Potomac

Recommended Posts

This is posted in the fossil hunting trips as well, they were both found at Stratford Hall on the Potomac. The first I think is part of a turtle shell but that is just a guess. The second looked like a tooth when I found it sifting, but I honestly couldn't say for sure. I'd appreciate any help I can get in identifying these.

Thanks!

The first one might be part of a whale vert epiphysis but positive identification might not be possible.
