Hey guys, got this today.

 

Is this a bird bone? Or what's it from??? Its about 2 1/4" in length.

Looks like a fish spine, to me. :unsure: 

Wait for a few more opinions, though.

I just looked them up right before seeing this post. We have a winner! I'd rather that than the bird, to be honest! :D:D:D

Never noticed, but looked at it in better light and it has little barb/serrations along the edge. Thanks so much, guys!

 

Catfish Spines. I'd say we have a winner. I wonder if its from the Tandanus species which still inhabit the river beside this...

Yours has serrations on both sides (dorsal-ventral), but that doesn't mean it couldn't be catfish pectoral spine. Take a look here .
