I don't see any bone texture to this item. Wait for some other opinions, though. Plax Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 where at in NC? Much of the piedmont and all of the mountains are bereft of fossils. There are Triassic basins in the Piedmont though that have rare vertebrate fossils and of course the coastal plain has probably hundreds of sites.
