North Sulphur River 03-26-17

After deciding I wouldn't head to the Sulphur River again till it had some major rain I decided on Saturday night that I had nothing better to do and went out Sunday morning anyway.  I went to a favorite spot and after heading some distance I was happy to see few footprints and very little mud.  Almost immediately I discovered the best mosasaur vert I've ever found!  This thing looks like it came out of the monsters neck yesterday.  I was out there only about 4 hours and came away with a pretty good haul.  The Sulphur always seems to produce.

Awesome! That vert looks a lot like the Latoplatecarpus willistoni upper dorsal vertebra that I found in the North Sulphur a few months ago.

Nice variety, ... and one of the better looking verts I've seen from there. ;)

Thanks for posting.
