Pretty cool finds!

Any idea what formation?

The Lee Formation, the Wise Formation and the Norton Formations all appear to outcrop in those vicinities.

Nice finds, by the way, Mossyfern. :)

Thank you, I was thrilled, especially with the ferns.  When I was a kid,  my aunts hunted fossils in Wise County and brought me ferns and corals. I always thought the ferns were so amazing and beautiful! Thank you Fossildude19 for the formation info.

Oooh! Nice Stigmaria.   :)

I love to see the 3-d casts of these.

Thank you!  I was excited about it.  I saw the stigmaria in a road cut, and climbed up to try and wiggle it, but it wouldn't budge.  It would still be there if my friend hadn't suggested I try the hammer.  It pried out fairly easily, but broke from the section still in the rock.  Given the angle of the remaining section, though, I don't think we'd have been able to recover it without more serious equipment than we had available.

Hm. That's near my neck of the woods. Maybe I should spend more time learning about fossil locations in SW VA. (we're near Blacksburg). The best we had before were some shells off a mountain near Roanoke. :)

Finally got to go look again.  Today (8/26/17) I had finds from Scott and Wise counties.

Nice collection of finds! I think I have some similar pieces from that area and love the level of detail. Thanks for the photos. Regards, Chris
