CBOB
I was able to get out one day this March and collect some Mazon Creek nodules from Pit 11. I found all these as they were and all of them were weird enough to keep. Any help with ID's on any of them? Even if some aren't fossils I thought they were at least unique compared to the many solid dud nodules you find with the freeze/thaw process. Thanks! 1. 2. 3. CBOB
That's what I was leaning towards with some of them too. But then is just unique mineralization?
Fossildude19
I would imagine that some are just mineral staining, and some may be something that was too far gone when it fossilized or didn''t fossilize properly? Wait for more of the Mazon guy's opinions, though. GeschWhat
With the exception of the triangular one, I would say coprolites as well. Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo

Well, you did! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- John I had a friend once, but the wheels fell off.
