Nathan1981
Made these sifters out of milk crates, bought from Hardware store and cut them down to few inches from bottom. Have 1/2", 1/4" and then 2 smaller wires. Stack them up on the bed of my work truck and let the yard do the sifting as I drive around.

Nathan1981
Thank you. No need for a lid though, I drive a truck in a pipe yard and we have a speed limit we have to go by.

Nathan1981
Bought the craftsman from Sears a few years back. Found the one in garage then went and bought 3 more non craftsman a couple months ago.
Herb
nice job, I tried it a couple years ago but the crates I had had holes in the sides also and did not work out well "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence"_ Carl Sagen No trees were killed in this posting......however, many innocent electrons were diverted from where they originally intended to go. PaleoExplorer
Way to think smarter, not harder. Very creative idea. I'd be interested to see the shifted piles after you've given it a run.
