The trilobites appear to be authentic, but they have been composited for additional monetary value.

Ceratarges is recorded from the El Otfal Formation and Drotops is found in the Bou Dib Formation.

As the chart shows, they are in nearby layers, but not associated side by side.

Please provide measurements in the future.  Scale is important.  The depth of field in the photos make the phacopid appear much larger.

After discovering the listing, the seller states the phacopid is 5 cm in length.  Phacops araw is the likley trilobite, also from the El Otfal Fm.

He said yes before. ;)

They both look real, but they have been positioned together on the one rock.

I already answered the trilobites appear to be authentic.  I questioned the authenticity of the association because this photo in particular makes the phacopid look approximately twice the size of the other trilobite.  The photo is an optical illusion giving the appearance of a much larger Drotops.

Unfortunately this thread has become very confusing.

I said 'composited' because from the photos the phacopid appeared to be Drotops-sized.

Because Phacops araw is also found in the El Otfal Fm, this association is easily possible.
