Thank you...learning about these creatures has been both interesting and rewarding. I see so many of them posted here, but I really had no idea how scarce they were within the Western Interior. I've pretty much only focused on the ammonoids of Turonian of New Mexico over the years so when I came upon some echinoids, I didn't hesitate to post them in the Fossil I.D. section... . Thank you to @EPIKLULSXDDDDD for guiding me down this new path of discovery...and thank you for mentioning what differences to look for between genera. 2 "I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in. I just wanted to take a moment to share it here for those who might be interested... 27-MECASTER.pdf ...now it is back to the rocks in search of perfect specimens to help further define its name. 2 5 "I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in. PFOOLEY
The upcoming NMMNHS Bulletin 94 will be a special one for me. I was pretty excited to have two co-authored papers in this edition... THE CRETACEOUS ECHINOID MECASTER FROM THE TURONIAN OF THE SOUTHEASTERN SAN JUAN BASIN, NEW MEXICO 27-MECASTER.pdf ADDITIONS TO THE FOSSIL BIOTA OF THE UPPER CRETACEOUS (CENOMANIAN) PAGUATE MEMBER OF THE DAKOTA FORMATION, SOUTHEASTERN SAN JUAN BASIN, NEW MEXICO 26-PAGUATE MEMBER.pdf ...but then, I was surprised with this... 35-TWOWELLS.pdf ...holy smokes! I can't thank my fellow worker Paul May and, of course, Dr. Spencer Lucas enough... ...I am, indeed, honored (and very ). 5 7 "I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in.
