Meridian TX

Found a few interesting items in a road cut west of Meridian TX. I believe the area is Cretaceous. Any ideas?

I was thinking the same thing on the first pic before I saw ynot's response. Now I want to change my mind

Geologic. I don't see anything that I think is a fossil. Mineral encrusting and then differential weathering.

 

Now that other thing in the earlier post is some crazy weird bivalve shell.

I can see it being this instead of coral.
